Returns
If you are having an order
shipped internationally, the price for shipping
and handling will show as
$00.00. However, you will be charged the actual shipping costs of the
United States
Postal Service or
UPS plus a
$3.00 handling fee. This will appear as a
second charge from us on your credit card or PayPal
account.
Ordering
To place an order you may:
Online shopping cart information:

All orders are processed and shipped within two
business days; most are processed the same day
or the next business day.

AVKO is now processing credit card orders
"live." However, we still manually verify
the totals and discounts of each and every order
to ensure that any and all discounts, shipping
charge corrections, etc. are accurate. If
necessary, debits or refunds will be processed
on the same card you used to order.

To track orders that were placed
online, use the
tracking feature of the Shopping Cart.
We update the tracking information at the end of
each business day. You will receive an
e-mail confirming your order that also contains
a link specifically for your order.

When you order a membership
online, your member's discount
of 25% will also not immediately apply to any
materials ordered at the time of membership
purchased. You may still order the
materials with your membership purchase; all
applicable discounts will be refunded back to
your card, including lessened shipping and
handling charges.

However, once you have received your membership
login information, you will be able to order
using the discounted prices on the
Member's Only Quick Order Form.

If you are having an order
shipped internationally, the price for shipping

Distributors are also charged actual shipping
costs plus a $5.00 handling fee.
If your method of payment
is a credit card:
- AVKO currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, and
Discover credit cards through our online
shopping cart and over the phone.
- As soon as the credit
card is approved, your order will go out with an
invoice from us, marked "paid in full."
- Your order will be
processed, in most cases, within 1 business day
of our receipt of it.
- We strongly recommend
that you give us a phone number or an e-mail address
in case we need to contact you regarding your
order. Verify your shipping address to
avoid delays in your delivery or additional
charges.
If your method of payment
is Paypal:
- Paypal orders may be placed online only.
Donations are much
appreciated via PayPal as well.
- Paypal orders will be shipped within 1
business day of clearing.
- If you need to send additional payment, or
choose to make a donation, you can send the
money to AVKO's Paypal address: paypal@avko.org
- AVKO accepts all major credit cards
(including American Express), e-checks, wire
transfers, and debit cards through PayPal.
To use American Express, e-checks, wire
transfers, and debit cards not backed by
a major credit card to pay for your
order, you must use Paypal as your method of
payment.
If your method of payment
is a check or money order:
- AVKO also accepts personal checks, corporate
checks, money orders, and Cashier's Cheques..
- Personal check orders will go out once the
check has cleared.
- Money order and Cashier's Cheque orders will
be shipped out immediately.
Shipping
Shipping and Handling:
- We try to keep our
shipping and handling costs as low as possible
for you. Our standard rate is 10% of the
subtotal. All shipping fees have a minimum
of $5.00.
- Most orders ship out via USPS Media Mail
(Parcel Post). Delivery is guaranteed for
between 3-8 business days.
- For faster shipping, an additional amount of
handling is added to the shipping rate.
For UPS Ground (2-5 business days), add $3.00 in
handling. For UPS 2nd Day air, add $5.00
in handling. For orders $200.00 or more, we pay the
shipping (does not apply to retailers)
- You
may order any book as an
e-book which will come
as a PDF attachment to your e-mail for free
shipping.
- For retailer, distributor, and international
shipments, we charge the actual shipping
costs of USPS or UPS plus a $5.00 handling fee.
This fee will be waived if UPS Collect is used
(retailer provides us with their account number
to which the charges will be applied).

- We do not charge shipping
and handling costs for any of our free materials
(video, catalogs, dyslexia information, etc.);
however, we would appreciate a
donation to cover
the costs to the foundation for these materials
and their postage. All of our
materials may also be downloaded from the
freebies section of
the website to avoid delay on your part and costs
incurred on ours.
Returns
Our Return Policy:
- You may return (or
exchange) your AVKO products within 30 days of
your purchase date, provided they are in
saleable condition. Shipping and handling
charges will not be returned or refunded for the
original order. If an exchange is made,
new shipping and handling charges apply.
- If you placed your order
by credit card, your credit card will be issued
a credit upon our receipt of the merchandise
(minus the shipping and handling costs) unless
instructed otherwise. We will issue checks if
preferred.
