The ideas and suggestions by Eddie Carron of
England are his and not AVKO's. But we believe
they have a great deal of merit. We hope our
members and the visitors to the AVKO website
will read his book. Although it appears that Mr.
Carron is vehemently anti-phonics, I believe he
is merely against the preaching of rules, rules,
rules and the misinformation that often goes
into standard phonics books. We are interested
